back from the 2 retreats ( 1 in sg and 1 in Ipoh) , worked for 2 days & met up with some fwens & started attachment today!
retreats were good! met a lot of amazing people who look so deceivingly ordinary. Big thank-yous to the organisers, & to all the brothers and sisters ( my ' godmums' sister sally and sister ai khim, sis huey, sis sarah, sis kim, sis jane, sis kam, sis fei, sis helen, sis siew far & bro louis, sis meihsiang & bro waikhun, bro henry,... ) for all the help, support and love. Thanks sis kam for driving us back to KL and putting us up at her hse for 2 nights & to sis meihsiang & her husband for driving us back to singapore. sadhu X3! Learnt a lot during these 2 retreats, and hopefully i can put them to some use. me, sis sally & sis siew far @ the back of sis siew far & bro louis's hse in Ipoh It's a really pretty place, comparable to my mountains in chiangrai! =)
the long structure behind us is said to have survived some bombings, & there is good energy field in the area. Aniwae it's really cooling and the air is so fresh. Really didnt expect to find such nice places in m'sia! =)
-In the midst of the darkness, a faint light appeared from afar, shining on the route to the house on the mountain top. where the light is shining on, darkness has fled. With eyes clearly fixed on the light, the journey to the destination begins. Though the journey may be fraught with dangers, distractions and delusions, with wisdom, discipline and perseverance, the destination can be reached in this very lifetime.-
May our lives be firmly anchored in the dhamma till we reached nirvana.
